Realizing the tremendous void in Florida for a full service‚direct-store-delivery (DSD) food & beverage distributor, Blue Gem Enterprise was formed. Since 2009, Blue Gem has grown at a record pace, opening distribution facilities that now service over 2000 accounts state-wide. In April 2010, Blue Gem expanded its distribution capabilities to include a refrigerated division.

The Company distributes food & beverage products and provides support services to a variety of retail formats including conventional supermarkets, drug chains, schools, delis, multicultural stores, independent convenience stores, gas stations and jobbers.

Over the last 20 years, national retailers built centralized warehouse distribution facilities to deliver the bulk of products to their stores where company employees would then unload and stock the store shelves. There has been a shift recently, due to employee cutbacks, a need to replenish inventory daily and the push for "local" products back to the traditional direct-store-delivery model of the past. Blue Gem Enterprise is poised to capture a large portion of this growing need in the years to come.
